Installation instructions for U+4 MS/TP driver for Windows XP:

0.  Unpack the provided .zip file in an empty folder.
1.  Connect U+4 device to the USB port on your PC.
    The USB software installation process starts automatically. 
2.  "Found New Hardware Wizard" appears. 
    Select the "Install from a list or specified location (Advanced)". 
3.  Click "Next". 
4.  Ensure the "Search for the best driver in these locations" and 
    "Include this location in the search" boxes are both checked. 
5.  Provide the system with the location of this installation package 
    (containing the u4mstp.inf file)
6.  Click "Next". 
7.  Windows will indicate that a 'Digital Signature' has not been found.
    You must select "Continue Anyway" to continue with the installation.
8.  Click “Finish”. 

9.  If "Help and Support center" window appears asking about a problem with
    hardware device, close it.

By this time, the first driver, "Firmware Loader", is installed.
The Found New Hardware Wizard appears again.

10. Select "Install the software automatically".

11.  Windows will indicate that a 'Digital Signature' has not been found.
    You must select "Continue Anyway" to continue with the installation.

Post-Installation instructions:
==============================
1.  Double click on "My Network Settings"
2.  Double click the local area connection that is associated with the 
    U+4 device adapter you just installed. 
3.  Click "Properties".
4.  Unselect all protocols and services (like, "Client for Microsoft network",
    "File and printer sharing", "Internet Protocol"...), except 
    "CommView Network Monitor" (if there is one).
5.  Click "Configure".
6.  Click "Advanced" tab.
7.  Set desired configuration ("Card Speed","Filter","Node Address","Node Type")
8.  Click "OK".
9.  Click "OK".

Note: After you have installed second or more device, 
change Node Address parameter immediately. 
It should not be the same address for multiple adapters!


Uninstall procedure:

Run UninstCU.exe

Notes
=====
1.Any time you want chande driver's configuration stop the BACstac service
  either like explained above or by issueing the "net stop bacstac" command
  before changing and "net start bacstac" after.
  To use new settings with BAS-o-matic, just reopen the application.
2.If you want to unplug the device from PC, stop the BACstac service, click
  the "Unplug or eject hardware" applet in the right bootom corner of the screen
  and click "Stop U+4 MSTP Network adapter".

Settings
========
 Card Speed:
   Select needed Baudrate(in the range from 1200 to 115200 bps) from the list
 Filter:
   Select what kind and format of packets you want receive:
     -"All" - to receive all packets (including all types of MS/TP frames and
       error notifications)
     -"All BACnet data" - to receive all MS/TP frames transporting BACnet NPDU.
     -"Directed BACnet data" - to receive MS/TP frames with BACnet NPDU,
       destined only to our Node Address and Broadcasts.
     -"Directed BACnet NPDU only" - to receive only directed or Broadcast NPDU.
       (accepted by any BACstac version). MS/TP information is absent.
 Node Address:
   Set address of this node in the range [0-254].
   IMPORTANT Note: Master node must be in the range [0-Max_master]
   Higher address can be set for monitor mode only (to track some slave node
   activity).
 Node Type:
   Select "Monitor" or "Master Node". 
   Master Node takes part in token passing and needed for BACstac.
   The "Monitor" mode can be used for Bac-o-matic only, not for BACstac.
   
 Max_info_frames[1-10]:
   Max number of frames the node may sent before it must pass the token.

 Max_master[1-127]:
   Highest allowable address for master nodes.
